Jesse Collett

What's your typical work day look like?
I wake up around 5:30am and get ready for work. I try to leave my house around 6:30am to be early to work. My motto for timeliness is "Early is on time, on time is late and late is unacceptable". After I get to work I prepare for the day. I teach my classes.

Best thing about the job
The absolute best thing is working with students. Having the opportunity to build relationships, and encourage everyone to grow and be better humans brings me back to work day after day.

Worst thing about the job
The hardest thing about the job is probably some of the nations support structures of education. For example underfunding etc. This is an important job and sometimes it doesn't seem to be valued that way!
