What's your typical work day look like?
- Arrive around 8,
- grab coffee,
- catch up on email,
- wrap up code reviews from the previous day,
- meetings with business stakeholders,
- chat with teammates about their projects,
- modelling work and/or academic research (who else has tackled similar problems; what learnings can we apply to our models; etc.),
- more code reviews
- wrap up around 4:30 and head out


What's the best thing about your job?
We largely have the freedom to decide what problems we tackle and what projects we work on. That degree of autonomy is pretty great.


What's the worst thing about your job?
Office politics and convincing other business areas that we can add value to what they do
