A day in the life of physician Dr. Martha Lynch Biasi


What's your typical work day look like?

I take care of patients at nursing homes. I awake at about 5:30am to head to work at 6:15am. I'm usually done by 5:00pm but have more charting to do after I'm home. I round at 4 nursing homes during the day so am driving from nursing home to nursing home in different areas of Denver.


What's the best thing about your job?

It's a privilege to care for people at times when they are most vulnerable, when they are sick. It's particularly gratifying to see patients improve their health from sickness to good health.


What's the worst thing about your job?

It can be very stressful when there is a poor health outcome.
